EISA is the unique association of special interest magazines in European countries. At first time they’re only select award “camera of the year”. Now they’re over 50 magazines and expand award in to different categories call panels included Audio, Video, Home Theater, Photography and Mobile Electronics.

Not surprisingly the awards go to… Hasselblad H2D-39. Hasselblad a lot of design in their medium format camera ,since H1. The color of body from solid black cut with chromium to light gray make it look more hi-tech and more Auto focus-SLR(but I really like the classic one). It’s equipped with auto focus lens and add so many features that make it more like DSLR with 39 mega-pixel. From my opinion it’s really useful for out door professional photographer, but those features are rarely use in studio.

EUROPEAN PROFESSIONAL CAMERA – Canon EOS 5D

Canon introduce professional DSLR 12.8 million-pixels with full-frame sensor million-pixels. Canon sensor is well-known as always clean and vivid (so call canon like sensor). Supported by wide range of quality lens and price is affordable for really serious amateur photographer. I thought this is one of the DSLR camera that worth the price.

EUROPEAN CAMERA – Nikon D200

I always love Nikon SLR, especially their body that really tough and solid. The button, dial and interface are simple and easy to use. Nikon system is unique and didn’t change much, you can still use same old AI-s lens mount with all Nikon SLR/DSLR. But it’s will not support some function like TTL metering and of course autofocus capability.
