Canon has today announced three new additions to its line of IXUS (Powershot SD in some region) compact cameras; IXUS 970 IS (Powershot SD890 IS), IXUS 90 IS (Powershot SD790 IS) and the IXUS 85 IS (Powershot SD770 IS).
The flagship model, IXUS 970 IS (Powershot SD890 IS) equipped with 5x optical zoom lens, optical Image Stabilizer (IS) and enhanced Face Detection Technology. while the other two models , IXUS 90 (Powershot SD790) and the IXUS 85 (Powershot SD770), share the same 10MP sensor and 3x (35-105mm equiv.) zoom lens.
